This fellowship is awarded to an outstanding graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design.  It has been made possible by the generous sponsorship of Paula Wallace, President of SCAD, who has long taken a special interest in offering continued support and encouragement to SCAD graduates.

Applicants will be asked to provide the year of graduation and major along with the other application materials. Currently enrolled students are not eligible.

Award: full residency fee of €875, plus a €625 stipend to be used as the resident sees fit to help cover travel, materials, etc.

Qualified applicants must be working at a professional level in their field. We accept applications from emerging and mid-career creatives, as well as from those who are established with national and/or international reputations.

Applications for residency are judged primarily on the quality of submitted work samples.  There are no publication, exhibition, or performance requirements contingent on an Art Center Padula residency.

We encourage creative professionals of all backgrounds to apply for admission. Art Center Padula celebrates varied ideas, world views, and personal characteristics, and are committed to being an organization that welcomes and respects everyone regardless of age, ability, ethnicity, race, religion, philosophical or political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, nationality, geographic origin, and socioeconomic status.
