private transport options
While trains and buses provide by far the cheapest travel options, there is something to be said for the comfort and speed of private transport.
Costs are around €200 from Naples, with a travel time of approx. 1h50m.
Costs from Salerno are around €150, with a travel time of approx. 1h10m.
Prices are subject to fluctuation due to changing gas prices and some surcharges may apply on weekends/evenings. The actual price is based on a quote for a specific date and time.
We are unaware of private transport options directly from Rome, but you could consider taking a fast train (Frecciarossa or Italo) from Rome Termini to Naples (1h10m) or to Salerno (1h45m) before transferring to private transportation.
Feel free to let us know if you wish to use private transport and we will help you get a quote and book your trip and help coordinate a ride share with another member(s) of your residency group to reduce costs.
