Getting to Art Center Padula
Most people traveling to Padula will fly in to either Naples or Rome. Padula is about two hours from Naples by car and about fours hours from Rome. By public transport, those travel times increase by up to an hour.
If you are already in mainland Europe, traveling by fast train to Salerno (an hour from Padula by car, longer by bus) is your best travel option. We've worked out the best ways to get to Padula, taking into account cost, travel time and ease of ticket purchase.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPTIONS IN A NUTSHELL
From Naples airport, you will travel a short distance to the Central Station first. From there it is possible to arrive directly to Padula, only a short distance away from the Art Center. We will pick you up from the bus stop for the last part of your journey.
From Rome airports, your can either travel to Naples or Salerno by train and then follow the options in the FROM NAPLES or FROM SALERNO sections below
... OR...
You can bypass Naples and arrive directly to the bus terminal of Padula's neighbouring town Sala Consilina. There is no service between that terminal and Padula, so if you decide to use either of the FROM ROME options below, we will arrange a pickup service from the terminal at a small surcharge.
From Salerno station, the best option is by bus directly to Padula. We will pick you up from the bus stop for the last part of your journey.
In below instructions we've added maps to help you find the bus stops and terminals, as these tend not to be signposted very clearly.
